The Children’s ISA Charities
We are supporting charities very close to our hearts…
The Children’s Society
The Children’s ISA has partnered with The Children’s Society to offer an ethical Junior ISA with a charitable conscience and encourage parents across the country to prepare for their child’s future by putting savings into a Junior ISA account. The Children’s Society will be promoting the account and any accounts opened directly via the charity’s channels will result in a £50 donation from us.
The Children’s ISA is delighted to announce its support to The Children’s Society and have pledged to raise £10,000 over the next year. The Children’s Society works hard to make sure that every child has a childhood, which is something that The Children’s ISA are proud to be a part of.
The most disadvantaged children rarely suffer on just one front. The Children’s Society works with these children to ensure that they are loved, valued and listened to. With them they help fight childhood poverty, harm and neglect.
The Children’s Society’s network of programmes includes drop-in services for runaways, 43 children’s centres and support for young carers. They support children who are refugees from violence, and give those in care a voice. As well as fundraising we will also offer budgeting workshops in children’s centres for parents to provide advice and support to them.
The charity transforms children’s lives by influencing central and local government to protect them, and challenges attitudes that perpetuate harm and injustice.
David Dawson, Savings Director at The Children’s ISA said:“The Children’s ISA is delighted to enter partnership with The Children’s Society as we share a mutual goal of promoting and actively looking after the wellbeing of children. As we are currently involved in operating government backed Junior ISA accounts for looked after children this partnership is a natural progression for us. The Children’s Society will be our charity of the year and we will donate a proportion of our profits from our ethical children’s society Junior ISA to the valuable work they undertake.”
Simon Burne, Director of Fundraising at The Children’s Society said: “We are excited to launch this partnership with the Children’s ISA and hope that we can provide financial support to parents and guardians and a good savings foundation for their children.”
